Fallingbrook
Community Elementary School, Fallingbrook School Age Program
is a community-oriented program serving 90 children from junior
kindergarten through grade 5. The centre has easy access to
a wonderful local park, sports field and walking trail. We
provide nutritious morning and afternoon snacks for the children.
Our hours of operation are 7:05 a.m. to 5:55 p.m., Monday
to Friday.
We are open year round, excluding Statutory Holidays.
Our play spaces are designed to encourage all aspects of
your child’s development. In each program room at
Fallingbrook, children can safely explore a learning environment
that is designed to encourage their optimal physical and
cognitive growth, appropriate to their age and level of
development.
We offer a balance of structured and unstructured, stimulating
and quiet-time activities and an abundance of opportunities
for children’s creativity. Our expert staff design
and implement age-appropriate programming that promotes
self-esteem, self confidence, self-help skills and independence.
We provide opportunities to strengthen social skills, for
children to make choices, and gentle encouragement to children
to resolve their own conflicts. At Fallingbrook, children
are actively involved in directing the programming, creating
a fun, cooperative atmosphere that is responsive to the
ever-changing interests and needs of this age group.
Above all, children are given the opportunity to explore
who they are in a safe, relaxed, healthy environment in
which they are respected and admired for their individuality.
The children regularly enjoy special visitors to the centre
in order to enhance the fun and learning already provided
by our qualified and dedicated staff. In addition to daily
outings, age-appropriate, well-supervised field trips are
offered for extra fun and educational value.

School Age Program
Age Range: 6 to 10 years
Staff/Child Ratio: 1:15
Program Capacity: 70 children
*Monthly Fee: $391.00
* Our fees are blended to include before and after school care, care on PD days, care during March Break and full time care during the summer.
Waiting List
Please contact us if you'd like to learn more about our centre. Our centre is usually fully enrolled, so it's important to place your name on the waiting list as soon as possible.
To place your name on our waiting list (full fee and subsidy), you must register your name on the Centralized Waiting List (managed by Child Care Information on behalf of the City of Ottawa) and identify "Global Child Care Services - Fallingbrook School Age Program" as your child care choice. How to Find Us
Directions:
Take Montreal Road east, which becomes St. Joseph Blvd. Continue straight for approximately 5 km. Turn right onto the Tenth Line Road. Proceed up the hill.
Turn left onto Charlemagne Blvd. Proceed straight at the lights, and then turn left onto Princess Louise Drive. Drive to the stop sign. The school and child care parking lot are located on the left just after the stop sign. Proceed to the designated parking spaces. You will see the day care sign.
